Shape Fidelity combines over 30 years of collective experience with the latest in advanced 3D scanning technology and processing to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations.

Central to many of our projects is the use of structured light scanners for data capture.  Utilizing the latest 3D scanners with LED blue-light technology, these systems can be adjusted to set the scanning target volume based on the project resolution and accuracy requirements.

For large objects we utilize our photogrammetry solution – using high-resolution cameras to capture optical targets within the scanning volume.  Combined with precision scale bars, this method results in known scanning target locations over the entire part to be scanned – which helps to reduce stackup error from successive scans.
